Political Intelligence
One situation. One clear read. One hour.
Some political moments do not require a full diagnostic. They require a sharp, experienced read of a specific situation, right now, before you act.
A conversation you are about to have with someone who holds more power than they show. A decision being made above you that you cannot quite read. A shift in the room you have noticed but cannot name. A move you are considering and want to pressure-test before you make it.
The Political Intelligence Session is a single 60-minute conversation focused entirely on that moment. You bring the situation. I bring the frameworks, the pattern recognition, and the experience of watching how power actually moves in organisations. We work out what is happening, what it means, and what you do next.
This is right for you if
You have a pressing political situation that needs a read right now.
How it works
Before the session
You complete a short briefing form. What is the situation, who are the key players, what have you already tried, and what do you need to walk away with. This means we use the session itself for thinking and strategy, not scene-setting.
The session
60 minutes via video call. I ask questions, map what I am hearing, and give you my read of what is actually happening and why. We identify the move or moves that account for the system as it is, not as it should be.
After the session
A short written summary of the key points and agreed next steps, sent within 24 hours.

The Single Session is not a substitute for the Political Intelligence Audit.
If your situation is complex, involves multiple stakeholders across a shifting landscape, or requires sustained navigation over time, the Audit is the right starting point. The Session is for a specific, bounded moment that needs a clear read now.
If you are not sure which one fits, fill in the form and describe your situation. I will tell you honestly which one makes sense.
Questions about the Single Session
Do I need to have worked with you before?
No. The Single Session is open to new and existing clients. If you are new, the briefing form gives me enough context to work with in one session. If your situation turns out to be more complex than a single session can address, I will tell you that on the form review before we begin.
What kind of situations work well in a single session?
A specific conversation or negotiation you are preparing for. A political dynamic you need to read before a key meeting. A decision you are about to make and want to pressure-test. A shift in the room you have noticed and cannot explain. A move someone has made against you that you need to respond to. What does not work as well: situations with many layers, long histories, or multiple stakeholders whose relationships need mapping. Those need the Audit.
Will I get a written output?
Yes. A short summary of the key points and agreed next steps, sent within 24 hours of the session. Not a full Situation Report, but enough to work from.
Can this lead into the Audit or Retainer?
Yes. If the session surfaces a landscape that needs deeper mapping, the Audit is the natural next step. And the Audit remains the entry point for the Retainer. Some clients come in through a Single Session and move into the full Audit once they have a sense of how I work.
